AI at Capital Partners

AI as a Strategic Capability

Turning data into better decisions, across the Group

Our Philosophy

Our philosophy is simple: AI enhances human expertise, it does not replace it. Crucially, AI doesn't replace expertise — it augments it, compressing complex data into clear, actionable insight so our teams can focus on what matters most: judgment, strategy, and execution.

Our Approach

At Capital Partners, AI isn't a standalone technology layer — it's a decision-support and predictive capability woven directly into how we operate. Modern AI models, from regression to machine learning, act as predictive engines trained on historical and real-time data, identifying patterns across pricing, demand, customer behavior, and operational performance at a scale and speed beyond traditional analysis.

Preparing negotiations with data-driven insight

In practice, this means prices that adjust to competitor positioning and sales elasticity, replenishment prioritized for high-risk SKUs before they stock out, assortments refined by spotting low-productivity items, and vendor discussions strengthened by performance and margin analysis.

These data-driven practices have made our decision-making faster and better informed. Product availability has improved and stock-outs have fallen; margins are better managed through smarter pricing and assortment; manual analysis and reporting effort has dropped sharply; and our teams now spend more of their time on the high-impact commercial actions that move the business forward.

Our capabilities rest on integrated systems: ERP for transaction processing and execution, business intelligence platforms such as Power BI for reporting and visibility, and AI and analytics models layered on top to generate recommendations. For space management and planogramming, we use Leafio.io. Together, these systems ensure data consistency and cross-functional visibility across commercial, supply chain, finance, and operations.

While most decisions remain human-led, we are progressively automating data collection and processing, anomaly and exception detection, and the generation of recommendations for pricing, replenishment, and performance management. This preserves accountability and human judgment while steadily improving efficiency. Our wider roadmap maps the retail value chain into structured decision loops, ensuring data flows seamlessly from insight to action — reducing friction, accelerating decision cycles, and sharpening operational discipline across the business.

Across the Group

AI across the wider Group

Beyond the commercial function, AI is progressively applied across the Group's broader value chain, supporting operations, supply chain, finance, people, and infrastructure. The principle stays the same throughout: AI enhances decision-making, improves responsiveness, and reduces friction, rather than replacing core systems or human expertise.

AI Across Our Business

How technology is driving smarter retail at Tawfeer

At Capital Partners, artificial intelligence is more than a tool — it's becoming a core part of how we operate, decide, and grow. Across our Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations functions, we're deploying intelligent solutions that make our business faster, sharper, and more responsive to customers.

Intelligent solutions at work

AI is embedded across our most critical processes:

  • • Vendor Payment Management — validating, prioritizing, and scheduling payments.
  • • Item Lifecycle & Promotion Optimization — costing, pricing, and promotion planning.
  • • Demand Planning & Replenishment — forecasting that optimizes inventory and cuts waste.
  • • Dynamic Pricing — real-time pricing that protects margins.
  • • Computer Vision in stores — CCTV-based AI tracking shelves, availability, and compliance.
Real impact, everywhere it matters

For our customers, this means better product availability, fairer pricing, and a stronger in-store experience. For our employees, it means less manual work, better decision support, and more time for high-value tasks. For our operations, it means greater consistency, accuracy, and scalability across stores and logistics, translating into revenue growth, cost optimization, and healthier margins.
From demand forecasting and replenishment to price optimization, vendor payments, and cross-system reporting, key processes now run with full automation, freeing our people to focus on what they do best.
This reflects our ongoing commitment to AI as a core driver of operational excellence and growth across the Group.

Decisions powered by data

Every day, our teams make better decisions with the help of intelligent insights. Pricing and promotions adjust dynamically to demand and competitor positioning, procurement is guided by true landed cost and supplier performance, inventory planning draws on predictive demand and seasonality, and store execution is shaped by real-time sales and operational data.

Connected by design

Our AI solutions are integrated directly with the platforms that run our business, including Dynamics 365 (ERP), LS Retail (POS), and our warehouse management systems. A centralized data architecture connects insights across functions and ensures seamless flow between planning, execution, and reporting, so everyone works from a single, consistent source of truth.

Across every function, AI works as a connected, cross-functional capability, linking data, insight, and decision. Rather than a set of standalone tools, these applications are part of a single, deliberate effort to accelerate decision cycles, improve operational consistency, and free our teams to focus on the work that creates the most value.
