Acknowledging our footprint within the environment, we have taken different steps which reduce any harmful impact. For example, to decrease electricity consumption, we have installed high-end solar panels and have taken the necessary steps to encourage investments in green and renewable energy. Also, given the nature of the fast-moving consumer goods industry, we have put in place high-end supply chain processes that reduce food wastage and capitalize on the complete use of all materials. Additionally, with our expertise in food supply chain management, characterized by farm-to-supermarket shelf knowledge, we are better able to control quality and minimize any risk that can hurt our environment. While our main line of work is food, we have undertaken different initiatives that deal with awareness around environmental issues and, notably, our project on water management stewardship with USAID.
